Splitting = Splitting a cell mean dividing the selected cell into separate cell.

Merge cell = Merge cell is the opposite of splitting cell.Merging a cell means combining cell . We can merge 2 or More than 2 cell .

1.First Generation (1940-1956) The Computers of this generation used Vacuum tube as the basic Component for memory & Circuitry for Central processing unit. 2.Second Generation (1956-1963) These Computer used Semiconductor transistor instead of Vaccum tube which were cheaper. Consumed less power more Compact in Size more reliable & faster than the Vaccum tubes. 3.Third Generation The third generation Computer used Integrated Circuits Keyboard,were used as an input device and monitor & printer were used as Output device. 4.Fourth Generation Fourth Generation Computer were Very cheap and Very Small in Size.
